Maria Lynn Coyle is a solo practitioner with Coyle Law & Mediation PLLC. She earned a BA from Brandeis University, and a JD cum laude from Boston College Law School, and is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar (1986) and the Virginia State Bar (1995). Maria is currently a member of the family law sections of the Virginia State Bar Association, the Fairfax County Bar Association, and serves on the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Committee.

Coyle Law & Mediation maintains a dual specialization in family law litigation and family law mediation. The practice focuses primarily on contested and uncontested divorce, custody and visitation, child support and spousal support. Maria also provides representation for petitioners and defendants in domestic abuse matters, including expungements in cases of criminal assault.

Maria is experienced in drafting premarital, separation, and property settlement agreements involving complex issues and assets. Her primary goal is to avoid unnecessary litigation and achieve a fair negotiated settlement. However, she will aggressively litigate all family law matters on behalf of her clients when necessary.
