From Fairfax County Park Authority:

Experience the world of arts and crafts by more than 50 artisans at the third annual Arts and Crafts Show at South Run RECenter.  The event takes place on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Crafters will tempt shoppers with everything from beautiful jewelry to intricate woodworking.  Other crafting categories include photography, painting, glasswork, clothing, dolls and pottery to mention just a few.

This is an annual favorite for folks looking for holiday gifts and unique hand crafted items. The show has been juried by the Northern Virginia Hand Crafters Guild, ensuring the highest quality from the vendors, all of whom are members of the guild.  Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.

Admission is $3, and free for children 12 and under.  Receive $1 off admission with your canned or boxed food donation to help support the Lorton Community Action Center in their efforts to improve the quality of life for the underprivileged. Children ages 4 to 12 may participate in fun activities and crafts in the field house while you shop.  For more information, contact South Run at 703-866-0566.
